Michael (David Hasselhoff) tries to catch up with an evil group that is planning to sell poisonous substances to terrorists then he faces a firing squad when he attempts to rescue a Foundation contact (Kip Niven) who was arrested in a military coup.
Later, his vacation plans in a peaceful town are interrupted by a gang of malicious bikers and a frightened sheriff as two masked men (Anthony James, Karl Johnson) steal 1,000 pounds of highly explosive dynamite from a guarded trailer.
Meanwhile, Michael (David Hasselhoff) searches for an elusive master of disguises (Dick Gautier) who is planning to steal sophisticated government weapons but of course, he suspects foul play when a valuable race horse mysteriously collapses under its beautiful owner (Toni Hudson) because on a visit to an industrialist (Ramon Bieri) suspected of illegally disposing of chemical wastes, K.I.T.T. is dropped into an acid-filled pit. Eventually, Michael (David Hasselhoff) pursues two thieves (Michael MacRae, William Sanderson) who have kidnapped Bonnie (Patricia McPherson) and taken possession of a car with amazing technical capabilities.
But Michael (David Hasselhoff) always comes out on top.
