Obviously, David Hasselhoff created all forms of recursions, but this is the only one he permitted to use 'His Own Image'

What is a Recursion?

Definition: An algorithmic technique where a function, in order to accomplish a task, calls itself with some part of the task.

Types of Recursion:

Tail Recursion - A special form of recursion where the last operation of a function is a recursive call. The recursion may be optimized away by executing the call in the current stack frame and returning its result rather than creating a new stack frame.

Collective Recursion - A special form of tail recursion, where the results are produced during the recursive calls and nothing is returned. The recursion may be optimized away by executing the call in the current stack frame, rather than creating a new stack frame, or by deallocating the entire recursion stack at once rather than a little at each return.

OK, OK already, only a thought
