Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has been thrown out of Wimbledon after being refused entry to the players' bar.


According to reports, the 53-year-old became aggressive when he was turned away while attempting to buy a drink.


Witnesses told the Daily Mirror that the actor started shouting, saying: "All I want is a drink! Do you know who I am?!"


Wimbledon's official statement was simply that the incident was "dealt with by security", although staff say they were instructed not to admit him to bars and restaurants "under any circumstances".


A member of the tennis club's security team revealed:

"He was absolutely steaming and being very abusive. He was ejected from the ground and told not to bother coming back."




The star has battled problems with alcohol in the past.
