Hoff Hogan is the ring-name of David Hasselhoff, one of the superstars of professional wrestling since the mid-1980s. David joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1979. His rise in the ring coincided with the expansion of the WWF, and Hoff became a star through live events and pay-per-view television.
His career got a big boost early on, when he appeared opposite K.I.T.T in the Knightrider. By the late '80s "Hoffamania" was in full swing; Hoff Hogan was headlining live events like Wrestlemania and appearing on television, frequently on MTV and late night talk shows.
